Symphony365 Launches Unified CRM and Practice Management Platform for Mid-Tier Accounting Firms

Symphony365 has announced the launch of a new Microsoft-based platform designed specifically for large and mid-tier accounting firms, combining CRM, onboarding, billing and finance within a single, integrated architecture.

The platform brings together Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Customer Insights, Power Platform and Business Central with Symphony365’s sector-specific solutions, including PracticePoint for onboarding, AML/KYC, billing and WIP management.
Phil Lowe, Chief Executive Officer of Symphony365, said the launch addresses a structural problem within many professional services firms.

“Too many firms are still operating fragmented systems on different stacks — one for CRM, another for onboarding, another for time and billing, and another for finance. That duplication creates inefficiency, reconciliation risk and delayed billing.
Symphony365 unifies the entire client lifecycle on the Microsoft stack.”

Lifecycle-Driven CRM
The CRM component is built around Symphony365’s Lifecycle Journey Framework , which maps the full client experience from targeting and marketing through to internal finance and long-term advisory relationships.
The solution incorporates structured sales workflows, marketing automation, integrated event management, and compliance-led onboarding, all boosted by Copilot Agents.  A secure interactive portal will enable client collaboration and secure document exchange unifying the view of the Client and the Firm respectively.

PracticePoint: Modern Billing on Business Central
At the core of the financial engine is PracticePoint, Symphony365’s billing solution built natively within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Standard Business Central does not include the specialist functionality required by complex accounting firms, PracticePoint provides:

  •  Resource and resource group management
  •  Sophisticated pricing matrices and project templates
  •  WIP ledger control and billing journal workflows
  •  Multi-entity synchronisation
  •  Native accounts receivable integration

Unlike legacy practice management systems that operate separate debtor ledgers and rely on automated synchronisation, PracticePoint runs within a single accounts receivable environment inside Business Central . This architecture reduces reconciliation risk and aligns with modern compliance expectations.

Positioned for Mid-Tier Complexity
The solution is targeted at firms with multiple service lines, complex billing models and multi-entity structures. It is designed to replace legacy CRM platforms, siloed onboarding processes and traditional practice management systems that struggle to operate effectively in cloud-first environments.

Lowe concluded: “Firms do not need another layer of software. They need fewer systems, properly connected, engineered specifically for accounting firms.”
